Ride to York Motorshow

Starting with a meet up for breakfast at one of Vic Parks bustling cafes, Social Manna, we enjoyed a great breakfast and shot of caffeine, before taking off to our second pick up point, via the Mundaring Weir Road. After some introductions and banter, we took the long, twisty and scenic way (about 140km from Perth), to where the 2020 York Motorshow was being held.

My sources inform me that there were around 3000 vehicle entrants, over 1000 stalls and saw more than 20000 people come through the town. Especially with our hard border closures, well done Western Australia, for keeping Tourism and the economy going.

The day absolutely flew by, there were so many vehicles and things to see, that there was no chance I was going to see it all, especially with the constraint for our lunch time rendezvous. What an epic day it was.

I just want to thank all the riders that came out today. The sun was shining and the company was easy going and it was one of the best days for 2020.

Looking forward to the next outing.
